Call Breakara Demolition
Describe the building and we will tell you what the job involves.
Before you call
-
1
Photograph three things
The room or structure itself, the doorway into it, and the stair or hallway that leads out to the street.
-
2
Find out the age of the building
Roughly is fine. Anything from before the 1930s usually means plaster rather than drywall, and that changes the whole job.
-
3
Know your floor and your access
Which floor, whether there is a lift, and whether a vehicle can get near the building.
-
4
Tell us who is in the building
Whether anyone is living there while the work happens, upstairs or otherwise.
What happens after you call
We talk through the building and what is coming out, and tell you what the job depends on. Quite often that conversation is enough for you to know whether to go further.
If it is a job for us, we arrange to look at it. Anything we would stand behind needs somebody to have seen the building, particularly in older stock where what is behind the finish is unknown until it is opened.
We will tell you on the phone if your job is bigger than it sounds. That is more useful to both of us than finding out later.
Where we work
Breakara Demolition works across Brooklyn and everywhere else in the city listed here.
